The exact medication that your ShedRx clinician prescribes will depend on your medical history and weight loss journey. At ShedRx, we may prescribe the following medications for weight loss: Semaglutide injections, Tirzepatide injections, Semaglutide lozenges, Tesofensine, Metabolic Refresh supplements.
Your Shed Rx Initial Consultation is only $49. Following your initial consult, the program is a monthly subscription that includes everything you’ll need: the Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, or Tesofensine medication, supplies, shipping, access to our Care Team, and free follow up visits with our providers. All for only $199/$299/$399/$499/month, depending on the program prescribed and selected.
We do not accept insurance.
The following are scenarios that would disqualify you from using ShedRx’s Compounded Semaglutide and Tirzepatide programs.
- Insulin Dependence (requires Primary Care Physician Approval)
- Medullary Thyroid Cancer
- Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Syndrome Type 2
- Currently Pregnant
- Currently Breastfeeding
We also highly recommend a BMI of 27 or higher.
Compounded medication refers to custom-made pharmaceutical products created by pharmacists to meet specific patient needs by combining or altering existing medications’ ingredients and dosage forms. ShedRx uses compounded medications to provide the best possible care to each patient.
Compounded medications cannot receive FDA approval like mass-produced drugs because they are tailored for individual patients. The pharmacies that ShedRx works with are heavily regulated, appropriately licensed and uphold the highest standards of testing, evaluation, and quality possible.
Immediately following your Prescription Appointment, the ShedRx Care Team will reach out to confirm your order. Once confirmed, it is submitted for processing by our Med Team. It typically takes about 7-10 business days to receive your first order. We can speed that up with Expedited Shipping. Your future shipments will be planned ahead to accommodate this timeline.
Each patient is going to experience their own unique weight loss journey. Some patients begin seeing results within the first week at low doses, while others may need higher doses and more time to see results. Every weight loss journey is different.
